  • Monthatip Suksopha

    Monthatip Suksopha (Tip) - Thailand

Born into a family of artists–her father is the National Artist (Literature), writer/poet/artist Dhepsiri Sooksopa and her uncle is traditional performing artist Prateep Sooksopa–she has worked in the art world for as long as she can remember. Her home was always a welcome space for artists of different genres, creating awareness that a creative space is one that provides opportunities and inspiration for artistic creation, as well as understanding and interaction with the community.

Over 20 years ago she founded The Wandering Moon & Endless Journey performing arts group of which she is still the artistic director and master of shadow theatre. Her passion for shadow and puppetry took her through life lessons and experience working with many non profit organisations both in Thailand and abroad.

To keep alive the artistic works of her father who is suffering from amnesia, she founded the Dhepsiri Creative Space in Chiang Mai as a base for artistic and creative programmes for the healing of modern society.

  • Sujittra Prasert (Pan) - Thailand

Sujittra Prasert ia a Botanical Drawing Artist whose delicate brushstrokes bring Thai flora into luminous life. Her practice is not only about painting—it is about pausing, observing, and finding a deeper connection with nature’s wisdom.

Her paintings have been commissioned by the Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden (Royal Flora Rajapruek) in Mae Rim, Chiang Mai, and have found their way into everyday life as designs for shawls, T-shirts, pillow covers, and bags.

As the founder of BF Botanical Friendship, Sujittra has dedicated her artistic journey to celebrating the quiet beauty and cultural depth of Thai plants, flowers, and herbs. At the heart of Sujittra’s practice is the belief that Thai flowers and herbs carry deep cultural, spiritual, and healing significance.

By making botanical art accessible and meaningful, she transforms flowers into more than symbols: they become companions in our daily lives, storytellers of heritage, and gentle reminders of the beauty and wisdom found in nature.

  • Brian Cheung - Australia

Brian Cheung is a first-generation Melbourne-based visual artist whose parents immigrated from Hong Kong. Brian’s practice encompasses painting, drawing and photography; relying on analogue mediums with an emphasis on process and technique.

Since graduating from Monash University with a Bachelor of Design in 2012, Brian has used travel to both isolate from and immerse himself in the wider world. Highlights include residencies in Iceland, Tasmania, Shetland, Norway and Finland.

As the concept of unspoiled wilderness becomes an increasingly scarce commodity, Brian’s work memorialises the natural world, archiving and documenting what we stand to lose. His paintings and drawings explore the passing of time in place.

Brian has showcased work at six solo exhibitions in Australia – three of them direct responses to periods of intensive residency stays. He has also participated in over thirty group shows both domestically and internationally. Highlights include Wild Within in London 2018 with La Wayaka Current, The Factory in 2019 in Djúpavík, Iceland, and National Works on Paper 2022 at the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, where he was a finalist. In 2022, Brian also illustrated a bilingual children's picture book titled The Footprint, with support from Creative Australia and the Australia-Korea Foundation.
